Today for reading we were reading Ruru the guardian of the night, and we have fully readied the book.  The create task is level 4 comprehension questions we had make a Google doc and put in the questions. Hello bloggers! For the whole week we have been learning and reading about the Kuaka the marathon bird! The create task I have done is the 3rd create task Create it is about making a Google vids. Then putting the main facts into the Google vids. And I put pictures to show what i’m taking about. This is the book I was reading on page 8 that is the start of the book and page 8 tells us that the Kuaka flies incredibly fast up to 384,000 kilometres that is fast! Next page tells us about how fast it can fly. Then the other tells us that the Kuaka have been recorded flying, and people have a mysterious question of how the birds lived was a mystery on page 11 the 4th page of the book they tell us about the return journey. on page 12 the 5th page and 2nd last they tell us the Kuaka is a mysterious bird of how it lives and migrates. On the final page 13 the 6th page the title of it is Flying to the moon it tells us it’s life spam it is 15 years that’s a short life time! On their journey when their tired they stop at 45 kilometres that’s still pretty fast! Bye bloggers!

WALT: Contribute to text discussions by building on other’s ideas and comparing different interpretations. The book we have readied today is Jay’s treasure. It is about a little kid called Jay and his house is next to the beach so he finds all sorts of things, across the beach. Seaweeds, fish skeletons or exoskeletons, or sea shells. This is called beach combing. Jay’s favourite finds in the beach were the grey disc and the kina papa. And his neighbour lives next to the beach. My create tasks were.

I enjoyed this create task because it psychological and emotional reasons, primarily because the process provides a sense of fulfillment, allows for self-expression, and improves overall well-being.        The most challenging part was flipping pages and scimming and scanning 

Hello bloggers today for science I did sounds and vibrations and the science experiment was putting rubber bands on plastic. The way you can change the volume of the rubber bands is having a wider for a lower sound and a thin for high pitch sound.

Hello bloggers today’s WALT is : Identify the audience and purpose of texts that entertain, inform, and persuade. The book we readied was Estuaries it is about an ocean that the waves don’t move, and it is a calm place to paddle. They are made of fresh and salt water. Many birds migrate to each estuary. Are also rivers but they don’t crash like waves. Many birds migrate from Alaska to Aotearoa. They are coastal bodies of the water. Would you like to live near a watery wasteland of rubbish? Estuaries can either become one of these. And, as you find out estuaries you’ll find out, estuaries will be healthy for everyone! And estuaries have life cycles. My create tasks were 3 and 2 they were a bit hard.

Today’s WALT is recognise and describe the main differences between types of text, including cultural texts from their other’s  cultures the story is about a woman who is reawakening Hiapo and there language is dying and there culture is losing so she is trying to bring them back to where it use to be. And tried to make the  2,500 Hiapo cloth and got inspiration from other Hiapo artists. My other create task was making connections, text to text, text to self, text to world I was thinking of what I would type. I enjoy doing this because I basically make connections with things and the most challenging part was thinking because it was hard and I had a empty mind.
